What is that I see? Buds on the trees? Technically, it's not even spring yet. This poses one problem for me. I think it might confuse my lilies. Last year, my lilies didn't come up at all. No stems, no flowers. Nothing. I couldn't see that they had been damaged or that an animal had dug up all my bulbs. So I assumed that it was a freak weather thing. So this year, I imagine that the warmer it gets, they might try to emerge, and then if we get a cold snap, they'll die again before I even see them. Only time will tell.
